New Resource for DIY Legal Research

Nov 24, 2009

Are you a “do it yourself” kind of person?  Have you become frustrated in your efforts to learn about the laws that might govern your particular legal situation?

If so, there is a new website that may help you find the information that you are seeking.  Google has added legal opinions to their Google Scholar website.  You can search opinions by state, subject matter and/or keyword.

This feature is brand new, so take some time to see what you can find on it.  It would not surprise me to see Google change the way many lawyers research the law as well.

I hope this helps you gain a little more information about your situation.  Knowledge, after all, is power.

I hope everybody has a great Thanksgiving.  Remember that no matter what you are going through, you have something for which to be thankful.
